We look forward to hosting you for a beautiful summertime experience at the winery.
Ensuring Your Safety
Out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our staff, club members, and retail guests, Luna continues to monitor advisements from the Napa County Health Department on safety protocols as wineries have moved into Phase 3.
- Masks will be required upon entry. If you do not have a mask upon arrival, one will be given to you.
- All guests shall be screened for specified symptoms with a contactless thermometer.
- A signed waiver is required before your tasting. Limited printed copies will be on site.
- Parties are limited to 4 or fewer guests.
- Please maintain 6' social distancing from anyone not in your party.
- Reservations are limited to 90 minutes to give the staff time to disinfect between seatings.
State Guidance on Safety Measures
- Our Estate Patio and Lounge spaces have been reconfigured to allow 6’ between tables.
- Tables and chairs are disinfected with commercial strength disinfectant before and after each reservation. Our staff washes and sanitizes their hands before handling clean items. Gloves will be worn when cleaning/clearing areas.
- Hand sanitizer stations will be onsite at high touch locations for guest usage.
- Our staff undergoes pre-shift health screenings and wear masks. They will remove their masks only if 6’ distance can be maintained.
To meet safety standards, we are providing you a contactless menu via a QR code to see the summertime tasting selection.
Open your phone camera and place it in front of the QR code from any device for quick access to the menu. A limited number of printed menus will be available on site.

This is a time of new beginnings, and we'd love Luna to be the first place you visit after quarantine.
Out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our staff, club members, and retail guests, Luna has been closely monitoring advisements from the California State Governor's Office, the State of California and the Napa County Health Department on safety protocols as Napa County moves into Expanded Phase 2.
In following the California State and Napa County Health Orders and the COVID-19 Industry Guidance published by the CDPH and Cal-Osha on May 26, 2020, wineries will reopen for direct-to-consumer In-Person wine and wine-related merchandise sales. Luna Vineyards has taken the following actions.
Luna Vineyards Actions as of May 27, 2020
- Luna Vineyards will reopen the Luna Vineyards Estate for direct-to-consumer In-Person wine and wine-related merchandise sales under the Normal Hours of Operation: 9:30 am-5:00 pm.
- Masks are required upon entry.
- A maximum of one party is allowed inside the Tasting Lounge to purchase wine.
- No wine consumption is allowed at the Luna Estate under any circumstances during the Expanded Phase 2.
- Winemaking personnel will be onsite with a limited staff to ensure winemaking and cellar activities continue, observing the CDC's recommended six-feet minimum social distancing.
The State and County response to the COVID-19 pandemic remains fluid, so we appreciate your patience and support as we manage the Expanded Stage 2 Opening with caution and under the County's Health Orders. Please send any questions about inquiries, orders, and future events at Luna Vineyards to email@example.com.
Our hearts and thoughts go out to all who are affected by this crisis.

Luna Vineyards launched a Spring Relief Initiative to help local healthcare providers and its workers who have dedicated their lives to serving our communities. During the months of March, April and May, Luna Vineyards will donate a percentage of wine sales to OLE Health in Napa Valley, a community health center impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
"During this unprecedented moment in our world, let's join together to support and inspire one another. Luna's visitor center may be empty and wine country quiet, but nothing will silence the collective resolve of Napa Valley," says Andre Crisp, CEO of Luna Vineyards.
Tasting Room Staff are the heartbeat of Luna’s business. Shelter-in-place drives Luna to pivot for its survival…finding new ways to engage with customers at home. Telephone Sales Success rate creates job security!

Luna Vineyards prides its ethical and business decisions to protect the wellbeing of its staff, customers and club members at all times. Out of an abundance of caution, Luna Vineyards decided to take decisive measures before the COVID-19 directive came through the Governor’s Office of California this month.
"Without exception, doing what's best for Luna always means doing what is best for Luna's employees, says CEO Andre Crisp. "Luna introduced an innovative way for Tasting Room Staff to work from home. The Direct to Consumer Telesales Plan charts sales goals for the remainder of the quarter, managed by the Director of Guest Services, James Foster. "With a mandatory shelter in place, our members have reached out asking how they can support Luna, and the best way is to continue buying and enjoying Luna Vineyards wines."
To ensure winemaking and cellar activities continue, Winemaking personnel remain onsite observing CDC social distancing recommendations. Leadership, Administrative, and Enterprise Sales personnel continue to work from their home offices. "Participation has to come from everyone. We are in this together, and Luna staff are committed to maintaining each other's wellbeing, then turning the focus on collaborative ways among departments to find innovative alternatives and opportunities to engage our customers," says Andre Crisp.
The teams are working together to launch a series of Live Online tastings of its Estate and Reserve wines, pre-releases, and wine club favorites on Instagram, Facebook, and Zoom. “In a virtual space, the intimacy and transparency between our club members, guests, and the Chief Winemaker is a magical exchange. Luna is looking to make the online experience as memorable as a sip of its Estate favorites." says Nisha Singh, VP of Marketing.
The next online tasting event is scheduled for Monday, April 6.
