Sangiovese Cranberry Sauce Recipe


  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup Luna Sangiovese Classico wine
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar + more to taste
  • 2 cloves whole
  • 10 leaves basil for garnish


  1. In a medium sauce pan bring the cranberries, Sangiovese, brown sugar, and cloves to a simmer.
  2. Cook for 5 minutes until all the cranberries have popped.
  3. Adjust seasoning to your taste with more brown sugar.
  4. Cool and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  5. Garnish with basil leaves.
